Course accreditations
This course is approved by the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) which means upon successful completion of the course you will have achieved the NMC ‘Standards of Proficiency for Specialist Community Public Health Nurses’ (2022) in the field of School Nursing and can then register your Specialist Community Public Health Nurse award with the NMC. This should be registered within five years of completion of the programme.

A Bachelors Honours degree with 2:2 in any subject. Part One or Part Two registration on the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) register. A training contract or secondment from a 0-19 years' service provider/NHS employer, or if self-funding – confirmation that the proposed 0-19 years public health practice provider can, and will, support practice learning.
International entry requirements:
If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS 7.0 (Academic) with a mininum of 7.0 in listening and reading, with a minimum of 6.5 in writing and speaking.
