This course has been developed to mirror today’s Engineering Design industry and continues to work closely with its own Industry Advisory Board to ensure the curriculum and teaching is relevant. This not only broadens your horizons but also introduces you to potential clients, contacts, and future project sites.
What will I study?
The primary focus of this course lies in the realm of engineering product design and the management of production processes. The programme will encompass various facets, including expertise in production engineering for manufacturing, proficiency in Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), a deep understanding of quality assurance and process enhancement, and a comprehensive grasp of manufacturing systems engineering.
Furthermore, you will gain proficiency in programmable logic controllers, which are instrumental in the operation of automated production machinery. Alongside these specialized areas of study, you will also engage with core mechanical engineering modules as an integral part of your curriculum.
