About Urban Planning and Property Development, BSc (Hons) - at Heriot-Watt University

Studying Urban Planning and Property Development at Heriot-Watt prepares you for a professional career in real estate investment, development, or urban planning and design. It brings together theoretical, practical and policy content from both spheres - town planning and real estate.

Sandwich year

A sandwich year option is available, giving students the opportunity to spend one year in a paid placement before completing the final year of study.

Additional information

For all years, applications are welcomed from holders of nonschool qualifications and mature candidates. All EU and overseas candidates will require an IELTS overall grade 6.0 (or equivalent) with no component lower than 5.5 or equivalent.
