Sustainable energy systems are necessary to overcome the problems related to energy supply and climate change in the world. The Master's programme in Sustainable Energy Systems will provide you with state-of-the-art knowledge about technologies for utilizing the sun, wind and biomass as energy sources. Future employers are primarily in energy companies, consulting firms and public organizations in Sweden or abroad.
The production of power and heat by way of energy conversion based on steam and gas turbine processes also falls within the scope of this programme. Furthermore, you will learn about performance analyses of different energy systems and process integration. Methods for optimization, modelling and simulation of energy systems are also included in the programme.
This Master's programme is hosted by the Future Energy research group, which together with strategic partners is one of the leading research groups focusing on energy systems and process optimization in Sweden. We transfer the latest research results to the education in the Master's programme. Our students are thus well prepared for a future career at the forefront of the technological development in energy engineering and research.
