Become an Information Security Expert

What is the biggest information technology trend of the 21st century? What do servers, sensitive customer data, company networks and the technologies of industry 4.0 have in common?

They are under constant attack by cyber criminals, viruses and malware and need to be protected around the clock. The security of information and the analysis and management of such risks are more important than ever.

Our new Master’s programme aims to educate a new generation of Information Security specialists who do not only possess profound IT knowledge but also know how to design and implement security systems and measures in different business environments.

Students receive a well-rounded Computer Science education that focuses on all aspects of information security, such as Security Technologies, IT Security Management and Data Analysis.

Modules on current topics like Blockchain, DevOps and Cryptocurrencies and a range of hands-on projects complement the Master of Science curriculum and turn our graduates into experts that are in high demand.

Career Perspectives

Computer Science graduates are qualified for demanding positions in IT management, IT governance and Information Security.

As Information Security Specialists they are able to take up employment in

Notes about fees for this course

Tuition fees are €700 per month. The fees remain the same for the entire duration of the Master's programme.
There is a fixed examination fee of €2,400 which is split into instalments that are due each semester: 1st semester €500, 2nd semester €500, 3rd semester €500, 4th semester €900.
An extra one-off fee of €280 for our diversity training (intercultural events, excursions and language courses) is added to the tuition fees.
An additional enrolment fee of €250 is to be paid once at the start of the programme.

Entry requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science
Information Systems or
equivalent degree in the same area of studies.

Further requirements are

proof of English language proficiency and
successful participation in the selection process.

Proof of language skills
The following English proficiency tests are accepted:

TOEFL 87 ibt
TOEIC Listening/Reading 785, Speaking 160, Writing 150
IELTS (academic) 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 for each skill)
CAE (grade A, B, or C)
CPE (grade A, B or C)
Pearson English Test Academic (PTE-A): 59 points
