Archaeology is the study of the human past, from the hunter-gatherers of Ice Age Europe to the inhabitants of early modern cities. As a student at Chester you will discover what life was like for these past societies, and learn the techniques and approaches that we use to study them. In doing so you will develop a suite of new skills that will provide the foundation for your future, whatever career you wish to pursue.
The combined honours degree in archaeology offers a combination of lectures, seminars, practical workshops and fieldwork, all designed to develop your understanding of the human past.
Our full-time undergraduate tuition fees for UK and EU students entering University in 2018/19 are £9250 a year, or £1540 per 20-credit module for part-time study.
