Study
This history-focused study pathway focuses on the 11th through to the 15th century. Students gain the technical skills needed by a professional medieval historian. That includes medieval Latin, the study of handwriting (palaeography), and the study of the form of documents (diplomatic).
Structure
The course takes advantage of the rich medieval environment of the 'fine city' of Norwich, where UEA's campus is based, offering a historic castle, cathedral, guildhall and numerous parish churches. Students benefit from
Open to applicants with a good Honours degree (UK BA (Hons) 2:1 or equivalent) in History or a related subject, or practical experience in this area.
