You can study this Mathematical Sciences programme full- or part-time to postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma or MSc level.
The topics we cover include:-
By completing the first semester you’ll gain the PG certificate. By completing the second you’ll earn the PG Diploma. Then, by completing your dissertation, you qualify for the MSc.
You can register initially for any of these qualifications and upgrade later on.
The programme has a modular structure with a total of 180 credits.
In the first semester, there are three lectured modules (each 15 credits) and an instructional module in Maple and LaTeX (15 credits).
In semester two, we provide two lectured modules and a presentation module in which you’ll prepare and present a seminar and write a mini dissertation (30 credits).
The programme finishes with a summer dissertation written under the supervision of a member of staff (60 credits).
