Studying full- or part-time, you’ll gain an advanced insight into conflict, its causes and the best ways to resolve it, both from a Northern Irish and comparative perspective.
The programme brings together disciplines such as history, law, political science and philosophy.
You’ll not only study with leading academics in the field but will also be able to attend public lectures by diplomats and politicians who themselves have been involved in bringing numerous conflicts to peaceful resolutions.
All modules are taught in a small-group seminar format with student presentations forming a key part of each session.
During the summer, you’ll be required to research and write a 20,000 word dissertation to gain your MA.
Further details on the programme can be obtained by contacting the programme director (Dr. Maria Power).
