The Master of Science in Information and Communication Engineering (Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria dell'Informazione e delle Comunicazioni) is intended to provide graduate students with advanced skills in the field of telecommunications and electronic engineering.
The specialist graduates will gain a deep understanding of the most recent technologies, tools, systems and infrastructures for telecommunication applications. The studying process will be combined with practical laboratory sessions, in order to provide students with both practical and theoretical skills.
The standard M.S. programme lasts two years. It includes courses on fundamentals of Telecommunications as well as advanced specialization courses chosen by the student. At the end of the M.S. programme students will be required to have a training period in an company or in a research laboratory.
English is the official language of the Master of Science program. Courses, written and oral examinations, as well as the final dissertation, will be in English.
Graduates of the Master's Course in Information and Communication Engineering have the basic requirements to apply to the ICT International Doctoral School.
For EEA students the fee amount ranges from 0 to 2.959 euros, according to the student's family economic condition. For non-EEA students the fee amount ranges from 0 to 6.500 euros according to the student's performance (for top scored admitted candidates fees are waived).
A three-year first-level degree (Bachelor or similar) in Electric, Electronic Telecommunications or Information Engineering (or closely related disciplines) awarded by an officially recognized university-level institution.
Applicants who have not completed their first level degree in February, but are expected to graduate before July, are allowed to apply to the call for application. However, if selected, to be admitted to the program they will have to provide a copy of the first-level degree certificate before the end of July. Technology Requirements

• Physics;
• Algorithms and/or computer science fundamentals;
• Communication systems;
• Electromagnetic fields;
• Analog and digital electronics.
