Overview
Electrical and Electronic engineers influence the world we live in, from communications technology, to electrical power distribution and health care technology. This course provides an integrated approach by combining academic rigour with engineering design applications, business skills and professional studies.

Throughout the course students are given the opportunity to gain relevant practical skills using state-of- the-art technology to produce practical and innovative solutions to a wide range of engineering problems. From day one, students will be developing electronic circuits from prototype design through to fully assembled PCBs.

Please note fees are paid for each year of study unless otherwise stated. You will be required to re-enrol and pay fees at the beginning of each academic year. Fees may be subject to government regulations on fee increases. This course particularly welcomes applicants with a Progression or Advanced Diploma in Engineering.
Applicants with no formal qualifications will be considered on an individual basis taking into account your professional/work/life experiences and your ability to engage with and benefit from the course. You will be interviewed and invited to discuss your portfolio of work. You will only be offered a place if you are able to demonstrate a level of intellectual curiosity and organisational ability such that you have the potential to be successful on the course.
International entry criteria
International students need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 6.0 or above and a minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening).
