On this course you will not only get an insight into the field of criminology but also the comprehension of crime from a psychological perspective. You will also have the opportunity to undertake voluntary work within the criminal justice system and allied fields to support your academic studies.
This course offers you a comprehensive grounding in the analysis of crime, criminal behaviour and the criminal justice system. The course combines the study of criminology and psychology covering the biological, social learning and cognitive models of crime. This degree is of practical relevance if you want to pursue a career in: juvenile justice, court services, law enforcement, prisons and the probation services, victim support.

Entry requirements
112-120 UCAS tariff points normally in a minimum of two subject areas plus GCSE English and Maths or Level 2 equivalent.
We also welcome applicants with no formal qualifications. These applications will be considered on an individual basis taking into account their professional/work/life experiences and their ability to engage with and benefit from the course.
International students need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 6.0 or above and a minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening).
