About Visual Arts and Communication, Media and Film, BA (Hons) - at University of Windsor

Combines a foundation in artistic skills with an analysis of contemporary media institutions and production practices

Communication, Media and Film engages the rapidly changing media environment and the implications of emerging digital technologies/platforms

Visual Arts provides a strong foundation in studio practices (drawing, painting, print/digital/integrated media, photography, sculpture, bio art) and art history with exhibition opportunities and exposure to regional cultural institutions

Offers opportunities for internship placements to obtain hands-on experience in areas including media production/post-production; advertising, marketing and public relations; arts administration and festival organization

Provides state-of-the-art production/post-production facilities featuring industry standard equipment and software

Notes about fees for this course

Fees are an estimation and are based on tuition for eight (8) months or two (2) academic terms. Does not include Incidental Fees ($1,600-$1,700*), Textbooks ($1,000*), Living Expenses ($5,800**), or Meal Plan ($2,300***).

English Language Proficiency

The following are many different types of English proficiency tests that the university accepts with the minimum required scores:

TOEFL - Computer based score: 220 with Test of Written English score: 4.5. Internet based score: 83 with essay score: 20.

IELTS: 6.5.

CAEL: 60.

MELAB: 85.
