Understand animals on a deeper level.
A bachelors degree in animal behaviour is an opportunity to take your passion for animals and turn it into a rewarding career. Usually taking 3-4 years to complete, an animal behaviour degree could include modules such as biology, animal science, evolution, and zoology, as well as others.
Studying abroad as an international student is a great chance for you to see other parts of the world whilst getting a degree from a university of your choice. You will be making new friends and building your future network of professional peers.
Admission Requirements
Admission requirements for a bachelors degree in animal behaviour will normally include a high school diploma or the equivalent. Some universities might prefer that you have previously studied specific subjects such as biology.
You will likely have to provide evidence of your language proficiency. If your course is taught in English and you are not exempt from language requirements, you can do this with IELTS and TOEFL test results. These are two of the most widely accepted English language tests around the world.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees will vary depending on what country you are from and where you choose to study. You might be eligible for a scholarship or grant, which can help with the cost of studying and living abroad as an international student. It is important that you do your research before applying for any kind of financial assistance.
Careers
Graduates of a bachelors degree in animal behaviour will have a range of options available to them, including pursuing further studies, like a masters degree, or looking for a job. Roles could be animal biologist, animal welfare officer, conservation scientist, or veterinary nurse. Outside of animal behaviour roles, your skills will be desirable in fields such as teaching, journalism, and forensic science, among others.
