Audio engineering (also known as sound engineering) is a discipline that covers the technical aspects of anything related to the science of sound. As an audio engineer, you are involved in the physical recording and production of an audio project, and you could be responsible for the setting up of equipment, balancing sounds, adding audio effects, mixing the music and reproducing sounds.
During an Audio Engineering degree, you will cover the basics of music production and music theory, as well as the more specific aspects of audio engineering. Some examples of modules you could study include:
