Study a Human Rights Masters in the UK in 2025

As a human we are automatically entitled to a certain amount of rights simply because we are a human. These rights are applicable wherever in the world we live or travel to, and are applied regardless of our age, gender, race, sexuality, religion or any other status. As society becomes more globalised, it is becoming clear that these rights are not being adhered to across the world, and this is something that human rights lawyers, activists and researchers are looking to change and develop.

During a masters in human rights, you will build on the knowledge you gained at undergraduate level. Modules you study could include:

  • Refugees, Displacement and Humanitarian Responses
  • Women and Human Rights
  • The International Politics of Health
  • Civil and Political Rights
  • Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery
