A masters degree in sports journalism provides you with the chance to take your journalism and reporting skills to the next level. Usually taking 1-2 years to complete when studied full-time, a sports journalism degree will combine theoretical knowledge with practical application. Admission requirements normally include a bachelors degree in a related subject.

International students will likely have to pay tuition fees, depending on where you are from and which country you choose to study in. You might be eligible for financial assistance in the form of a scholarship or grant, which can significantly help with the cost of studying abroad. Graduates of a sports journalism degree will either be able to pursue a more senior role, or take on further education, such as a PhD or research degree.
