This three/four-year programme is perfect for anyone with a desire to pursue a career in the field of computer science and digitisation. This will enable students to develop the specialist knowledge required for a successful professional career.

There is an increasing demand for computer science graduates and digital experts as many companies move to increased digitisation in the post-pandemic world. Through this course, you will receive a hands-on education and gain transferable skills which will add value to your future employability and enterprising ventures. As well as specific industry standard skills and attributes, employers are also looking for ‘soft skills’ acquired through interacting effectively in groups and teams and the ability to work independently and diligently manage your own time.

1. Only international students are eligible for the High Achiever scholarship scheme.
2. Not applicable for European passport holders, you can apply for our current scholarships here
3. Students with high school scores from 60% will be eligible for the High Achiever scholarship scheme – from 50% for foundation programmes
4. The High Achiever Scholarship scheme is subject to approval by Admissions.
5. To secure the scholarship, a minimum deposit of €2,000 must be paid before the deadline
6. This scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or scholarships.

Entry requirements

Entry Requirements

Foundation (International Route)
Minimum age 17 (titles awarded upon completion of at least 11 years of schooling)

Academic Qualifications ECCTIS UK equivalent to GCSE

English Language requirements

  • Official English Tests
  • IELTS – minimum OS 5.0 (with min 4.5 in each component);
  • Password test – minimum OS 5.0 (with min 4.5 in each component)
  • PTE (Academic) – minimum OS of 46 (with min 41 in each component);     
  • LanguageCert International ESOL SELT OS B1 Achiever High Pass
  • Duolingo test with an overall score of 95+
  • West African Certificates (WAEC AND NECO only) as a stand-alone with a minimum of C6 in English and issued within the last 5 years. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) is also accepted with an overall grade C or above. For Tanzania and Cameroon, we request an IELTS (or equivalent certificate).
  • WAEC/NECO must be enhanced by a successful (50%+) Internal English Assessment if issued more than 5 years ago.
  • Nationals of a majority English speaking country who have taken their academic qualifications in that country, do not need to sit an English test ( Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Malta, New Zealand, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, UK and USA

The English language test can be waived and a Medium of Instruction Letter can be submitted if:

  • applicants who have achieved ECCTIS UK recognised High-School Certificate within the last 2 years where the medium of instruction was entirely in English (teaching and assessment). Medium of instruction letter can also be accepted if the applicants have graduated within the last 5 years but must be supported by a Duolingo test
  • you are a Canadian national who has completed studies at an English-speaking School/College/University


BSc (Hons):    

Minimum age: 18 years old  (titles awarded upon completion of at least 12 years of schooling)

Academic Qualifications: a school leaving certificate that allows you to pursue higher education in Germany (e.g. Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, Matura or International Baccalaureate), or International school leaving certificates, or BTEC/National Diploma, or Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education.

If you do not meet the above academic requirements, applicants with professional qualifications and/or 4 or more years of full-time work experience will be considered on an individual basis.

English language requirements: 

  • Official English Tests
  • IELTS – minimum OS 6.0 (with min 5.5 in each component);
  • Password test – minimum OS 6.0 (with min 5.5 in each component);
  • PTE (Academic) – minimum OS of 56 ( with min 51 in each component);
  • TOEFL IBT OS 80 (Listening 17, Reading 18, Speaking 20, Writing 17);
  • Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency OS 69 (min 162 in each component)
  • LanguageCert International ESOL SELT OS B2 Communicator High Pass (min 33 in each component)
  • Duolingo test with an overall score of 105

Fees, Funding and Scholarships at Berlin School of Business and Innovation

Whether you’re an undergraduate or postgraduate student, BSBI would like all students to have the opportunity to study in Berlin, regardless of their financial status.

BSBI scholarships are awarded based on merit and financial need and can be given out for several reasons. They’re designed to support you throughout your studies with us and help you with general living costs. Our scholarships are non-repayable, and you have the freedom to spend it on anything you require from books and equipment to rent and utilities. You can only apply for one bursary or scholarship type in any single year.

Leadership and Enterprise Scholarship

This scholarship, endorsed by the CEO, is awarded based on the following criteria:

Academic merit

You must show that you will be expected to succeed and benefit from your chosen programme and explain what you would like to gain from it.

Personal statement

You will need to write a personal letter of 250 words on how your chosen programme will impact your future.

Financial need

You must show how you could not enrol into the programme without the scholarship.
