Business School Netherlands offers a comprehensive Action Learning Leadership short course:
The Action Learning Leadership Programme (ALLP)
This course is specifically designed to meet the developmental needs of SME entrepreneurs, supervisors and middle managers of organisations. The delivery method of Action Learning means the course suits the needs of managers and leaders from public and private institutions, especially for those working in small and medium-sized organisations, National NGO's and government departments. By using the Action Learning method, participants will learn modern management approaches; what and how to apply these approaches to their particular situation, culture, organisation and country. Participants will focus on improving their decision-making, creativity and other managerial skills, while learning to analyse their own organisations, develop inspiring new insights and finalise a development plan for themselves as well as the organisation.
Recognition and Accreditation
The ALLP covers the first phase of the International Action Learning MBA, our "flagship" master's programme with American (ACBSP) and Swiss (eduQua) accreditation status. Successful participants will receive the first phase certificate of the MBA.
Assessment
The assignments that conclude this short course are the same as in the first phase of the International Action Learning MBA programme. You will be required to write an Organisational Analysis of your company, complete a theory test about Research Methods as well as undertake an Action Learning Literature Review. This is based upon your current leadership skills and competencies, and you will be encouraged throughout the programme to consider areas for development.
