About Intelligent Communication Systems, MSc - at EURECOM

This Master provides a comprehensive set of competences in Communication Systems: from physical layer (wireless communications theory and implementation aspects), mobile networking (based on IPV6), to applications (for smartphone, tablets...).Sophia-Antipolis is considered a major European region for telecommunications research and development in southern France. EURECOM has established over the years a synergy with the local industrial environment on advanced research topics.

Key Words: Wireless Communications, Mobile Communications, Mobile Networking, Mobile Applications and Services, Telecommunications, Signal Processing Technology.

OBJECTIVES

Provide the theoretical background and the applied know-how for engineers in Mobile Computing Systems.
Learn to tackle problems from a system viewpoint, taking vertical cut and following a cross-layer approach.
Acquire and master tools and methods to follow the rapid evolution of technology and provide solutions leading to future generations of systems.
Acquire managerial knowledge to provide innovation in Mobile Communications Systems (Project Management, Organization, innovation management...).

Awarded Degree: Master's degree fully recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The degree is co-delivered by EURECOM and the INSTITUT MINES TELECOM (French leading consortium of the best Engineering Schools in France).The degree allows for further Phd Studies.

Notes about fees for this course

The fees displayed here are for the programme in 24 months only. If you wish to study the 18 month programme, the fees are 5,000EUR (EU Students) or 10,000EUR (Non EU Students).

Entry requirements

To be eligible, Candidates need

Bachelor's Degree (minimum 3 years of higher education) in a relevant field
Strong foundations in mathematics
Certified B2 level in English. No requirement are needed in French as the program is fully taught in English.

For the 18 months curriculum Master degree specifically, the candidates need:

A 4-years Bachelor's Degree (minimum of 4 years of higher education) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics
Demonstrable and strong foundations in Mathematics, Digital and Mobile Communications
Certified B2 level in English. No requirement are needed in French as the program is fully taught in English.
