Hotelschool The Hague has been, ‘At the heart of Hospitality’ since 1929 and you join a warm, welcoming and international community in either The Hague or Amsterdam, with students from over 60 nationalities.
You explore the world of hospitality, participating in two international internships. During the Bachelor Programme, you develop your social skills, business skills and practical skills. Candidates must have academic qualifications enabling them to follow Higher Professional Education, in accordance with the guidelines specified by an independent body such as:
- International Baccalaureate (IB) (at least 24 points and diploma awarded, certificates are not accepted)
- European Baccalaureate (EB)
- American High School Diploma (GPA average at least 3.0)
- Two Advanced levels (relevant subjects e.g. Business Studies, Languages, Geography) combined with at least 4 GCSE subjects (A*, A, B or C) As a minimum requirement we request 6 different subjects in total. (UK)

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in English. Those candidates, who have followed at least two years full time education with English as the language of instruction in the preceding three calendar years, are deemed to have fulfilled this requirement.
Those candidates to whom this does not apply, must submit proof of sufficient score at least two months prior to the start date of the programme. One of the following tests would be sufficient (many companies, employers, universities and government bodies around the world recognize these tests):
- TOEFL test Internet based (score must be at least 80 website: www.toefl.org)
- TOEFL test Paper based (score of at least 550 points)
- TOEIC test (Listening & Reading 670 points/ Speaking & Writing 290 points)
- IELTS Academic test (score at least 6.0 IELTS, website www.ielts.org)
- Cambridge certificate* (score of at least 169 points on the Cambridge English

There are limited dates available for testing, so please ensure to register on time for a test. For more information about the English tests please enquire at your local British or American embassy.
In addition we recommend international (work) experience in a hotel, restaurant and basic knowledge of accounting and economics.
