If you're interested in teaching English to Spanish speakers, this is the perfect degree for you.
This course will open up many new and exciting possibilities for you. You'll be able to immerse yourself in the Spanish language and culture whilst developing the skills needed to teach English.
You'll study the Spanish language and culture through a range of lively options including modules that examine Spanish and Latin American politics and society. You'll also learn how to plan and deliver English language lessons through interactive workshops taught by experienced language teacher trainers. You'll also have the opportunity to take the Teaching Knowledge Test, a globally recognised qualification for English Language Teachers (subject to an exam fee).
In Year Three, you can spend time working or studying abroad in Spain or South America. Our partner universities are in Alcala, Avila, Leon, Madrid, Salamanca, Santander, Valencia, and Santiago in Chile.
