COURSE OVERVIEW
If you intend to make major advances in your chosen career in quantity surveying, you need to put some solid groundwork in place. Gaining a wide understanding of every aspect of this diverse industry is an essential first step. The course gives you an informed view of the many areas which you may expect to gain a working appreciation of and which will highlight the career specialisms you might decide to pursue at a later date. The course also includes a specialist building services QS pathway for those who are currently working in this field or who wish to move into this area.
Who should study this course?
This course is primarily designed for people employed in a quantity surveying role, such as in a private QS practice, construction company, M&E specialist subcontractor, building contractor or government organisation. This course is also suitable for those working outside the industry looking for a career change.

£950 per module x 17 modules (usually students undertake 2 modules per semester)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS You should have: • 230 UCAS tariff points: o HNCs and HNDs in any discipline will be considered o Applicants with fewer than 230 UCAS tariff points may be considered on merit • English language proficiency • Mathematics Grade C or above at GCSE or equivalent You will be required to provide copies of your qualification certificates that have been verified to be true copies of the original by someone in a professional occupation. Please do not send original documents. Applicants who do not meet the standard entry requirements should ensure they complete the personal statement section of the application form.
