This undergraduate programme leads to the Integrated Masters Degree in Osteopathy. It is aimed at those wishing to practice as osteopaths in the UK and, to a limited extent, overseas.
Osteopathy is a primary healthcare system that aims to balance the body through thorough assessment and evaluation, followed by manual therapeutic techniques and lifestyle management.
Our Integrated Master's Degree in Osteopathy is a four-year full-time programme, that provides a solid grounding in the clinical sciences, integrated with 1200+ clinical hours of real patient time, whilst also developing your skills in reflective practice and professional development.
Professional developmentSuccessful graduates are eligible for registration with the General Osteopathic Council.
The programme is ideal for those who wish to attain a professional healthcare qualification, which focuses on total body wellness. It often suits those with an interest in sports medicine, the care of children or even manual therapy for animals (although the latter does require a postgraduate extension).
Teaching our students a broad range of osteopathic principals and techniques allows them to become well-rounded osteopathic practitioners. We also teach business and professional development throughout the programme, to ensure all our students are ready for life in professional practice.
OutcomesThe aims of the programme are to:
