The Master’s Degree Programme in Information and Communication Technology: Digital Health specialisation track offers extensive training ranging from molecular level interactions to individuals and society. It provides versatile and high quality ICT education in selected fields of ICT, with an established reputation in innovative interdisciplinary and international education. This programme is taught at the University of Turku in Finland and in Fudan University, Shanghai, China.
The Digital health specialisation track integrates skills and principles from computer science, embedded systems and medical sciences in order to build understanding of theory and to gain practical competences in the field. Digital Health covers three subspecializations, each with their different study content. Medical Analytics and Health IoT has a strong focus on data analytics, while at the same time leveraging from machine learning, software engineering and embedded systems. Health Technology is an interdisciplinary collaboration between information technology and health sciences, containing studies of software engineering, information systems and nursing science. Bioinformatics focuses on analyses of biomedical data, such as DNAs and proteins, full genome sequences, and gene expression levels.
Health technology is an area where there is a good employment possibilities or, if you want to be more independent, to launch your own start-up. There are also possibilities to work in the research, education, consult sectors or even continue studies towards PhD degree
Free for citizens of EU/EEA countries or Switzerland. For citizens of non-EU/EEA countries €12,000/academic year.

Language Requirements
Applicants must have excellent English language skills and a certificate that proves those skills. You can indicate your language skills by taking one of the internationally recognized English language tests.
