Occupational therapy looks at the promotion of good health and helping people to overcome various problems to live a better and more independent life. Those people may require your skills as an occupational therapist due to an illness or injury, a chronic pain issue, mental health problems, or mobility issues. The overall aim of an occupational therapist is to increase the quality of life of their client or patient.
Graduates of a masters degree in occupational therapy will have a range of career options available to them. The most common career is to become an occupational therapist within different healthcare settings, such as hospitals, care homes, and schools.
