Study a Rehabilitation Masters in the UK in 2025

Rehabilitation looks at helping people return to their full potential and best condition. Patients could be recovering from an injury or illness, or could have recently undergone a medical procedure. There are several fields that require rehabilitation specialists and skills. As a student of rehabilitation, you will gain a range of skills, all of which are transferable across the medical field and beyond.

Graduates of a masters degree in rehabilitation will have a wide range of career options available to them. One of the most common paths is to enter the medical field and work with patients on their rehabilitation journey. This might mean that you work in a hospital, or any other primary care setting. You may also choose to focus on a specific form of rehabilitation, such as sport rehabilitation or neurological rehabilitation.

Your degree will be delivered through lectures and seminars, as well as practical sessions. Modules you study might include:

  • Paediatric Rehabilitation
  • Sports Therapy
  • Biomechanics
  • Workplace Rehabilitation
  • Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation
