About Access Foundation in Marketing, Graduate Certificate - at Robert Gordon University

This course is designed for people who are already employed in the Marketing field (e.g. in market research, PR, branding, advertising) who may not have a first degree and who wish to gain a University qualification. Applications will also be considered from those who have no undergraduate degree, who wish to enter the field of Marketing as a profession, but have no direct work experience in this area.

Successful completion of the course will enable graduates to gain access to the MSc International Marketing Management course at Aberdeen Business School, where they will be exempt from the core marketing module.

The course enables people who are working full-time (or part-time) to study at times convenient to them - no attendance is required at the University. The course is delivered through the University's leading-edge online learning environment, which allows students from around the world to interact with fellow students and tutors.

• Communications in Marketing


• Marketing in Organisations


• Management of Personal Selling and Sales

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, but appropriate work experience, preferably two years, is required. All international students for whom English is not their first language must provide evidence of linguistic ability, by gaining either IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent in TOEFL, prior to receiving an unconditional offer of a place on the course.

Fees and bursaries

• New students: entire course £2030 for academic year 2010/11


• Stand alone 15 credit modules: £584 per module for academic year 2010/11
